Website updated

So this morning I actually updated my website. Really only the page about how I've been spending my time and the page of books I've read, but it's something anyway. I was surprised to realize I hadn't updated it for four months, and I found myself putting links back to this journal for my reports on Minicon and Penguicon.

Oh, and I really am writing a Wiscon report. Really.

I don't know if I mentioned that my ankle is sprained. It doesn't seem to be getting better and I'm waiting for results from x-rays I got on Wednesday.

(note that I wrote that page ages ago and the new standards, style sheets and xml etc. are not covered by it. And yet it is still sufficient for most of what people want to do. The new standards are mostly really nice for layout formating, though, so I bet you'd prefer to use styles than the old limited methods.)

I learned HTML when I got my Geocities site. You're right, it is easy. But I love Cascading Style Sheets even more. The past couple of weeks I've been improving my CSS skillz while building my Science Fiction page and recently it's become really fancy. Take a look at the masthead and the handcrafted pullquotes!
