Chuck took a lovely picture of the two of us at Steve and Dawn's wedding. I figured since we went to such trouble to have outfits that matched, we ought to have documented it. :)
I got it a year or two ago. It was on a clearance rack somewhere and at the time I thought it was too big - it does gap a bit at the armholes, but I wasn't getting around to taking it in and I finally decided I would go ahead and wear it, just with a skin-colored bra underneath.
This was the first time I wore it, and I was pleased with the reaction. Like Bill said, the blue scarf really made the blue pattern pop out. And Bill's blue shirt helped too. :)
I'm now thinking of wearing this dress to the Hugos. I remember noticing last year that Teresa Nielsen Hayden was wearing more color than most other people, which really made her stand out in the crowd.
It's not that fancy a fabric, but it does photograph well.
Hey! If this is who I think it is (the girl on the upper right-hand corner of the Grand Auto Theft: Linux box .) then I should tell you I already sent you an e-mail with the wedding pictures website address.
There was a pic of the two of you that Steve was showing (among many pictures) on Tuesday at Tio's. He commented that he didn't think he had seen Bill so Happy before.
You both look really great. I hope you had a good time!
See what a so-so photographer can do with wonderful models? :)
I really enjoyed seeing both of you last weekend. Though I'm obligated by law to say that Dawn looked better than anyone there, you both looked sharp. < grin >
Well, I haven't seen that picture yet, but it's got to be kicking around somewhere! I don't know if we have all the pics from Leland yet, and we still have about 150 pictures do be developed on the instant cameras.
And if YOU think "wife" is a neat word, you should hear what **Dawn's** been saying about it. :)

I was really glad to be there Steve. I hope someday I can see pictures of Pam, your wife (gah!) and I holding the bouquet.
Wife.
That's such a neat word.
Congrats!
