updating things

I just updated my cell phone voice mail greeting. I believe that hadn't been changed since last ConFusion. I can't believe no one mentioned to me that it was so odd.

I also updated the Current News etc sort of page on my website, both with the news about my new car and a picture of me with Neil Gaiman in Chicago in November that I rather like. I don't like that many pictures of me, so this is nice.

I'll work on getting a picture of my car up, too. Maybe sometime when it's not so cold out.

One of the things I like about it, actually, is that I think we look like colleagues. There were some pictures from penguicon that, as Steve mentioned once, made us look like we were newlyweds or something - pictures I found very embarrasing because I look so silly and startled in them. You'll notice I haven't posted any of them anywhere.

Neil's opinion of this picture was "we look like a particularly shady pair of secret agents..." and I like that thought.
