Well, the general consensus is that tonight's meeting won't be the greatest, because there's no speaker set yet, and nobody I know is going, so we can all do it next month.

It's not really a sun group anymore, hasn't been for over ten years. Mostly, it's systems administrators, internetwork, security people, and people who run ISPs. USENIX, LISA, DEFCON, and Black Hat are the main conventions that get talked about.
