That's it. I want a desk chair. I want a desk chair that also works as a nursing chair.

That means it has low arms, possible padded and/or wide, but long - extending all the way to the back of the chair.

It should not be too narrow a chair. It should swivel, and raise and lower.

Do you suppose something like that exists, oh internets?

The desk chair I'm sitting in has padded arms, fairly wide, of adjustable height and horizontal angle. They go very nearly to the back (I can't get my arms to go off the back of the chair's arms because they run into the chair back first). It's wide enough for me, anyway, and even a bit more, and it swivels, and raises, and lowers, and tilts, and the tilt force is adjustable, and the tilt range can be locked.

So it sounds like it meets your requirements, at least on paper. It's a Herman Miller Aeron chair.

We have a nice roomy desk chair that we use as a feeding/comforting chair (now that he's 2 it's more about snuggling him until he's willing to go back to sleep!) - it has padded arms and it doesn't roll, which makes it also useful as a living room chair for the bad-kneed grandparents when they visit (easy to get up out of, unlike the so-called easy chairs). We bottle-fed so the positioning may be a little different but I imagine it would work fine for everything but the tucked-under-the-arm position. I can't find it on ye internet, unfortunately, but there are a lot of chairs similar--if you go to office max or one of those stores with the baby in tow, you should be able to test a bunch of the "executive desk chairs" (which is what they call the upholstered, long-armed kind) out.

I would strongly STRONGLY advise getting a leather one, because leather cleans right up after the kiddo throws up on it, unlike regular fabric.

You can already find adorable geeky onesies and t's for your babies, but ergonomic breastfeeding computer chairs? That is taking it up a notch.

Yes, i also highly recommend leather! My car does NOT smell after Matt christened it (i.e. threw up in it) last spring because it's leather. All I did was clean it with white vinegar & water and I scrubbed the car mats with soap.

When they were littler, adding a Boppy into the mix helped a lot. When they got a bit bigger that wasn't necessary. Is there something specific about your current chair that isn't working?

And I just got an email from 826Michigan (the robot store on Liberty that does kid tutoring) that they're looking for decent hand-me-down desk chairs. So if you have one that you are replacing (as opposed to adding to), you might consider donating the old one to that excellent cause. I could probably do the transport, if that helped.

The arms are a textured plastic surface (integral with the underlying padding, I think), so they should be really really easy to clean.

I haven't seen one where anybody spilled anything interesting on the mesh, so I don't know how that would go. Stuff might drip through, too. That could be a problem, although if you're sitting in the chair, the mesh part is largely protected (by your body) from anything you're holding.
