Schakolad (Chocolade) factory

So last night we wer at Arbor Brewing company to celebrate Mary's passing her qualifying exam (yay!) and on the way to the car we stopped in the new Schakolad shop next door. They opened on July 14, and this is the first time we've been in. Sometime we'll have to buy something there. I hope other people try it out too, partly because I want to know what everyone thinks and partially because I'd hate to them to go under before we get a chance to try them out.

Especially intriguing was the chocolate cake plate. If we were to have another cake party, we might have to get one of those or some chocolate desert plates or something.

I'll have to make a point of checking that out.

I'm not downtown as much as I like, so thanks for
making mention of it!

If you want to try some amazing truffles, check out
those made by Vosges, now carried by Zingermann's.
I recommend the Black Pearl. It's one of my favorites.

I've been there a couple of times now. Some of their flavored "truffles" are really yummy. Their base dark chocolate is quite good, but the flat per-pound rate for them seems a bit much to me for everyday use.

Oh, I agree. They are quite pricey and something I have but rarely.

The cherry is quite good and so is the one with wasabi, though you
might think otherwise beforehand.
