Vestigial Hair

Man once grew a ruff on the shoulder;
a remnant from when times were colder:
I now have one hair
that grows very long there.
I'm glad those genetics aren't bolder!

I get one in the middle of my forehead. Christine had an incessant desire to pluck it out, or at least cut it.

That desire was much more annoying than the hair.
