This is an excellent story.

After all the tales of dolphins rescuing people who ended up in the ocean, it's nice to hear about people who returned the favor. It was especially touching to read about the men holding the dolphins' heads above water for them.

What a song Stan Rogers could have made for this.

And in Michigan we have dickheads who get trapped on the floating ice of Lake Erie and have to be helicoptered off.
That mayor's grammar sucks, but he and his folk know what to do when it needs doing.

I heard an interview on NPR yesterday with one of the rescuers. It was a wonderful story but I listening to him speak made me feel like New Foundland was a really foreign country...I realize it is, but the accent was so strong it was difficult to understand. Really much like our appalachian mountain accents. Thanks for the story.
