Looking for a job? The Five o'clock club could help

The Five o'clock club is a career and job search coaching service. Looks interesting. Not something I need right now, but possibly of use to some of you out there.

Do you have any evidence that they are (a) real and (b) effective? I have friends looking for work...

$50 membership, $200-$540 for 5-20 telephone sessions & audio CDs. Color me dubious.

Thanks for the link; the free article was helpful - even for those of us who can't afford the books with followup info.

Not necessarily. I came across them through this article (http://www.fiveoclockclub.com/articles/2002/10-02-dreamjobs.htm), which tells a bit about their coaching through two examples. I hit it because we're seeking to partner with the second subject on a research project and I was googling his name.
