First decriminalizing marijuana, and now legalizing gay marriage - go Canada! Unfortunately, there'd have to be a radical socio-political shift in the US for us to catch up anytime soon.
Hmm... any lawyers in the audience? The USA recognizes foreign marriages, don't we? I mean if a couple was married in France, they don't have to re-marry if they come here, do they? If that's the case, then hey, wouldn't we also have to recognize Canadian gay marriages?
