(no subject)

I generally enjoyed reading Terry Pratchet's Interesting Times but I found it an interesting reflection of my smoffishness that the part that really made me laugh out loud was this following bit where Cohen and his "hord" of seven old men are considering an upcoming battle.


Mr. Saveloy tried to shut out the whispers behind him.
"Why don't we just invite them to dinner and massacre them all when they're drunk?"
"You heard the man. There's seven hundred thousand of them."
"Ah? So it'd have to be something simple with pasta, then."
