I'm having a slow, somewhat depressed day. It started out all right, and the sun is shining, and everything, but I am in a gloomy mood. I was aiming to go downtown this afternoon to apply to some places in person, but I called ahead and most of those places don't have jobs open. I'll still go there, but I'm not sure it's a good idea to go there while I'm in a down mood... In the meantime I made myself mashed potatoes and eggs for lunch and baked a banana cake with pecans in it.

I need to run out and get vanilla frosting though. We only have butter cream and that doesn't seem right.
