Dexter-Ann Arbor Run and Taste of Ann Arbor
I will be doing the 5k run/walk in the running in the Dexter/Ann Arbor run on Sunday morning. If anyone wants to join me (5k is just over 3 miles), today (before 8 pm) is the last day to register online. It's $29 and starts at my old middle school, Forsythe, at 9:05 AM on Sunday.
Rikhei has promised to meet me at the end of the trail for lunch at the Taste of Ann Arbor on Main Street. (Actually, given that the Taste doesn't start until 11 AM, I might go home and shower first, giving Rikhei extra time to sleep in after we go to City Club Saturday night). The Taste is a little expensive, but also a fun way to get introduced to various restaurants and the food they serve with little samples.
They'll be using tracking Chips to register our running times, so that should be neat. I'll probably walk to the starting place to make sure I'm warmed up (it's about a mile from my house) and can start running with the other runners.
