Temeraire Story

btw, if you want to get a quick taste of the only female author to have fiction nominated in this year's Hugo's (and who is also nominated for the Campbell Award), Naomi Novik has a short story in the same world as His Majesty's Dragon, online for free: Feast or Famine.
