SFOHA stands for the Science Fiction Oral History Association (http://www.sfoha.org). I'm secretary of the board of directors (and webmaster. My husband Bill is also on the board, and we're keeping the archive of master recordings at our house. It is not directly related to the book discussion, though the people involved overlap.

Chad Childers, who is treasurer of SFOHA and runs the book discussion, got me involved in SFOHA. I know Chad through SF fandom, and he and I are both active in the Stilyagi Air Corps (http://www.stilyagi.org), which is the Ann Arbor Science Fiction Association.

Speaking hypothetically, while I might be interested in a writer's group, interest in getting things published makes it a bad idea to do that in a public forum. If you're talking about a private online group, I might be interested, but I'm already overcommitted. However, I am also an editor of a fanzine now, so if you're interested in writing about sf fannish things, let me know (do you live in the midwest?)

another friend tried starting an online writers group with me in it and I never participated much, so my track record is pretty bad. I've written a few reviews though, and a few stories. haven't written much poetry lately...
