Thanks for well wishes

Thanks, everyone, for your supportive comments about my mom. Bill and I both spoke to her yesterday (Bill landed at a hostel with free long distance phone! How about that?). She reports she's healing well. It sounds like she's mainly frustrated at the discomfort of sitting down, due to where her stitches are. She can walk around or she can lie down; sitting is uncomfortable no matter how she sits. When I spoke to her she was going to have dad look around for one of those donuts people get when they bust their tailbone.

In the meantime, murphyw seems to be having a blast, and reports that his foot is strong and good. He has posted 219 SoBo Pictures on flickr, so go take a look if you get a chance.
