Happy New Year

Happy New Year, everybody.

This could be a good year. It could be the year we get Bush out of office.

We had a quiet New Year's eve. Bill took a long nap, we had dinner at McDonald's, went to Rikhei's for an hour, then came home. Though we were physically tired we weren't sleepy yet, so we watched Bad Boys and actually made it awake to midnight. I got a very nice kiss from my sweetie. soon after we dragged the blankets back up to bed.

My throat felt awful last night, but it's some better this evening. We have spent the day doing very little other than laundry, though we did have Rikhei and Erik stop in for lunch. We'll be taking care of her kitties while she's out of town at a wedding.

For lunch, Bill made the French Onion soup he had been going to make for Christmas dinner. Gruyere and Mozarella on top. It was really good, and quite filling.

I've been reading Dude, Where's My Country?. The Jesus W. Christ chapter was a little over the top but overall it's good reading.
