Quick review - Playing by Heart

We watched "Playing by Heart" last night and I liked it a lot. For a movie, it felt very... honest and about real people. Or realish people, anyway. And it was about loving and pain, about getting to know people and losing people. About opening up to people who are new and people you've lived beside for a long time without being fully honest. And joy so profound it makes you cry. It made me cry and it made me smile and I'm glad to have seen it.

(It also has a terrific cast. Angelina Jolie, Gillian Anderson, Sean Connery, Dennis Quaid, and others whose names I don't know off the top of my head but who did a fantastic job.)
