In order to actually be able to read Making Light, I finally switched to another browser (Firefox). I suspect I shall be making an email client switch soon as well.

I finally finally finally got Mozilla -- very happy! IE bad! Now I feel like a true uber-geek (although still using Windows as my OS.) Ironic thing: while I need to use IE for the networked data-management stuff for work, my Outlook-based webmail works much better on Mozilla. Go figure.

I really like firefox (I was drawn by the powers of tabbed browsing), but every once in a while every instance of it just closes. not good...I have to research that a bit.

Firefox is great. I love the search sidebar, and they have some really nifty adblocking plugins. It's definetly my browser of choice.

For email I use mutt on a Unix system, but if I didn't I'm sure I'd be using Thunderbird.
